HISTORY OF OUR WINERY

Welcome to Celler Pallarades

In 2020, Josep Armengol decided to start making his own wines, following in his grandfather’s footsteps and, at the same time, leaving nostalgia behind.
Our name honours the winery where these wines were born: Cal Pallarades, a winery located in Puigdelfí (Tarragona), founded in 1908 and which has subsequently been recovered and adapted to our times to create wines with a non-traditional tradition.

OUR PHILOSOPHY: RESTLESS · INNOVATIVE · UNIQUE

We can say that we are where we are and we know everything we know thanks to the winemaking tradition. We love wines and their rituals. Our restless spirits demanded innovation and experimentation that would create a new concept of wine: our own.

The WINERY

We want our wines to be experiences, and that is why we combine meticulousness and excellence with innovation. The result is unique and attractive wines that always respect the typicality of each variety. We also opt for different labelling, with artistic touches that allude to the wine or inspiring designs that highlight the unique character of each bottle.

Our Estates

Our wines are made in Tarragona, in the calcareous soil typical of the area and its influence from the Mediterranean Sea. The quality and personality of the wine are determined by the harvest. That is why we use manual harvesting methods, such as harvesting in boxes, which care for and respect the vineyards while enhancing the quality of the grapes.
